Hi, I'm Eka — founder of Black Girls Making Friends and A Dose of Travels. I started BGMF in 2019 because I knew exactly how it felt to be in a new city, craving genuine connection, and not knowing where to find it.
What started as a small Facebook group became a 130,000-woman movement — and I couldn't be more proud of every sister who chose to show up, be vulnerable, and build real friendships here.
